I’ve been writing music for as long as I can remember. My mom told me I’d make up melodies out of children’s books from my carseat at about 3 years old. When I was 8 or 9, I wrote and recorded a song that I still have that somewhere in our family archives! And when I was 14 I performed my first full length original with my guitar in front of 300 people.

I am not French, though many of my ancestors come from there. My first encounter with the French language peaked my interest when I was 9. I went on to study it in high school, got a minor in French in College, and continued to study on my own until I decided the only way I’d ever get anywhere with the language is if I lived there. So I moved to France in 2020 and after four years living there, I can officially proclaim myself as bilingual. It’s a dream come true… I’ve always loved language so, naturally, Spanish is next ;)

I’ve always had a hard time pinpointing exactly who has influenced me but thinking back to my childhood, it’s definitely been artists like Dido, Avril Lavigne, Paramore. I’ve also definitely had influence from Tame Impala, Imogen Heap, even the Gorillaz. I was lucky growing up too, we always had great musicians playing in the house from Sting to Bob Marley to Tower of Power. And of course my mother being a musician greatly influenced me as well, I wouldn’t be where I am without her.
